I use acrylic on stretched canvas applied with bristle brushes for my traditional pieces. I do some digital painting however, I only use the most basic tools to digitally hand paint each element to simulate traditional painting techniques and effects. Sometimes I revist a previous traditional painting to modify it digitally. I permit myself to experiment to extents I would never attempt on an original, traditional, painting. Such experimentation frequently energizes me with fresh ideas for new paintings.

Thanks for the reply about your techniques. You really achieve some awesome results. I tend to work mainly in spray art these days although I just completed a 3 foot by 7 foot painting in acrylics for my wife's new kitchen. It felt good to get back to the brushes for a change. I look forward to seeing future pieces from you. Thanks.
