Yes! I do indeed! Β Β I have downloaded this huge torrent file of Tanoshii Moomin Ikka and I just adore the Japanese voice cast, they all pretty much sum up what I had expected them to sound like, as I was just being introduced to the series I first watched in the Finnish dub. Our Finnish language teacher put the show on for us to see and the voices just didn't seem to quite fit the characters to me. They didn't sound terrible or awkward like they do in the English, but it didn't give music to my ears. :/
But Japanese, is just lovely ^^ Snufkin has a hot voice by the way X3Β Β

Hehe, I love Snufkin. I always hated my sisters making fun of me, calling me Snufkin cuz I have big eyes and nose and had similar hair style when I was younger. But now that I'm older, I really appreciate him! Even made a sculpey figure of him
I was wondering, what's with the English version? It could not have been dubbed in America since no one here knows about it! And Little My has a slight accent I can't quite put my finger on but seeing how only Europeans know about the show, I'm so curious as to where it was dubbed at!

Found one online from a Japanese seller on eBayΒ Β He was a little expensive but I still liked my choice. Then along came the one that was released furing Christmas 2013. the newer one looks closer to the character in the series. Hehe, I saw your sculpey on DA eariler. It looks lovelyΒ Β

I just got up to episode ten, but I agree. It's so sweet and calming. These are the types of shows kids should be getting into. Who says American kids HAVE to (and ONLY) like stuff with super high octane action? If I ever have kids, I'd no doubt show them Moomins.

Haha there's an episode that explains that actually. It's funny, folks from the zoo mistaken them for hippos and try to capture them "We're not hippos, we're Moomins!" "What's the difference?!" "We live in houses and drink tea like normal people, we don't live in the wild!" aand they get captured anyway XDDDD
