I got Tommy in a trade from WhiteMarkFox a while back, and he's been sitting unfinished. This is obviously a w.i.p. image.
I hope to get him done soon. All that remains is his interior work, back legs, and facial finishing. He is the most recent fox I've worked on, aside from redo's of my older work.

He has almost no black on him, except a short faint area that makes him appear as though he has a dark 'mohawk' when his pelt lies flat. He is a short, FAT, stubby little man with a glorious coat. The only good ref. image I could find of a comparable likeness of Tommy before his take, was hardly larger than a thumbnail. And the more I study Jason's images, the better I feel about how I've done on Tommy. Anywhoo...

I am posting him now because Tommy looks like a great deal like the foxes mnshortdraw has been bringing in. And his images REALLY helped me with ref, since many fox images aren't as well labeled with areas of take. Tommy looks like this one of Jasons, mnshortdraw.deviantart.com/art… but even lighter. Like I said, almost no black, except for the back of his ears and the tiny bit between his shoulders.
Tommy, if I remember correctly, came from/was purchased from Dutch Harbor, AK. An area of AK that is infamous for it's fur trade.
