Oh, the Bible and it's creepy metaphors...
Happy creepy Easter everyone!

----Agnus Dei-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
A title for Jesus in the Bible, meaning "Lamb of God", referencing his sacrificial role in
the Bible. A lion-like lamb appears in the Book of Revelation, having seven eyes and
seven horns, arriving in heaven on Judgement Day and considered by the angels the
only one worthy of opening the fabled Book of Life. He does so and releases its seven
seals, unleashing the four horsemen of the apocalypse and other disasters and miracles
over the earth. Each seal brings salvation to the faithful, while making the lives of the
sinners left behind on earth more miserable, who hide cursing his name and fearing
the "Wrath of the Lamb". The Agnus Dei is a classical christian iconography, usually
represented as a small lamb holding a flag with a cross, sometimes sitting upon the
Book of Life with its seven seals, and bleeding from its heart.

This week's post was supposed to be the last one of the angels commission, but I mixed
the dates and totally forgot that Easter was this Sunday, and not wanting to lose the
opportunity for an Easter-related post... Sorry TheCrossovered89! Omniel will still come soon! >.<

But anyway... Agnus Dei, right.
There's quite a lot of symbols in there... The traditional Agnus Dei symbols are a no-brainer:
Seven eyes, Seven Horns, Lion like appearance, bleeding heart, flag, book of seals... All there.
The flag contains part of the Agnus Dei liturgy: "Agnus Dei, qui tollis peccata mundi, miserere nobis.",
translating as "Lamb of God, you who take away the sins of the world, have mercy upon us.", and also
portrays the seven stars mentioned in the Book of Revelations.

The seven seals are now color and symbol coded, for the God's convenience of course!
They are:
1-The First Horsemen, Conquest.......(or Pestilence, it depends)
2-The Second Horsemen, War.
3-The Third Horsemen, Famine.
4-The Final Horsemen, Death.
5-The vindication of the fallen martyrs.
6-The great earthquake.
7-The Rapture.
