So, I've been approached by Late Knight Games for an opportunity to design some of the monsters for their game, a tabletop pokemon and D&D love child called Majimonsters. Specifically, for their newest Halloween expansion to the game, the Faces of Fear, which in fact, was just released today! To celebrate this occasion, what better way than to share what I've been working on these past few weeks with you all? Hope you guys like it!

I've worked on five of the monsters for the halloween expansion, each one of them based on a common halloween monster trope, with Effigy being based around a rag doll turned into a voodoo doll.
Effigy is a disturbing monster that takes the appearance of a sogged rag doll that's been pierced by numerous pins. It's constantly crying, and a trail of tears is seen wherever it goes...
The design came to me relatively easy, my main problem was to give it the right amount of creepiness. I guess a tiny bit of body horror always does the trick.

While the Faces of Fear is just a small halloween treat for the fans of the game, this next expansion is supposedly much meatier (or so I've heard), and I'm also working on a few new monsters for it! I've personally haven't played any of the expansions or the base game, but working with Late Knight Games was really nice, so I hope they suceed on the new Kickstarter.
