I was going to post Saehrímnir last week, but karma struck and I didn't manage to finish it in time,
so it got scrapped, and this almost happened again this week. Someone doesn't want me posting, that's
for sure.

So, anyways, a month ago I asked you guys which figure deserved a chance to be saved from my
sketch dump, and here is the winner! Thanks to those who voted!

This was fun, might be doing this again sometime.

---Mammon, Demon Prince of Greed---------------------------------------------------------------------
A Semitic word for money and material wealth, made famous by the biblical passage "You
cannot serve God and Mammon at the same time." In the Middle Ages, it was personified
as an evil deity or demon supposedly (but incorrectly) derived from the Egyptian god Amun Ra.
Many illustrations portrayed him as a hawk-headed humanoid, similar to the god Ra, and
sometimes with two heads, the two-headed eagle being a heraldic symbol of its own,
associated with various empires such as the Byzantines and the Romans. He appears in
Milton's Paradise Lost as a fallen angel, and in the famous demonology book Dictionnaire
Infernal, represented as a small man clutching bags of money, and described as "Hell's
ambassador to England". Mammon is commonly listed as one of the Seven Princes of Hell
who presides over the seven deadly sins, himself presiding over the sin of Greed.

This design is one huge cheap metaphor, just the way I like it. You're welcome to interpret it as you will.

I thought that was a bit boring for him and didn't exactly represented my image of greed, so I opted for representing
him as an obese frog, with frogs, wolves and dragons being common metaphors for greed in general. But to at least
make some references to his classic appearance, I've included the two crows sprouting as wings from his back at the
last minute. ...Also, some very obscure megaten reference hidden in there somewhere that no one is ever going to notice...
