The original tittle for this was going to be "The essence of the morning is the coffee" unfortunately the title has to be short
I made this Nov 2010, it's a drawing that was inspired in these two awesome pieces of art from my dear friend [link] [link] but also for some comment she made on a deviation about coffee that it's was great! I'd like to have the link of that deviation but I don't remember what deviation this was (I think it was a photo of a coffee mug with a saying) I've been looking for it when I drew this, and for the last two weeks on sunday and saturday and when I had some time off (on my favorites isn't the link) and today! I looked for it a bit today, but I finally decided to post this one without showing the link cos I got too tired of looking for the deviation!....You know, I miss my friend...I've been heard about her in a pretty good time, even she haven't replied my comments....I hope isn't for something I said or did or for something in my gallery she didn't like or something I didn't do or.....well....I think isn't for that...maybe she's just too bussy or she doesn't have internet conetion....
Well, anyway, her art and comment was a part of the inspiration, the other part was some everyday life happening The idea of drawing this came to my mind one morning I was so tired and I didn't wanted to get up to go work, but my mom was preparing coffee for my dad, with some grain coffee that my dad had bought, and I smelled the aroma of coffee and it was so so exquisite, so much that to smell that gave me energy so I could wake up! And I remembered my friend's drawings and comment!! and that's why I made this!
It was amazing the fact that aroma is made me feel with energy! I never had felt that way before that day but I think it was because my mom always buys "nescafe" or other fabric coffee, not natural grain coffee like that day, and the grain coffee essence it's way more consistent and more deligthful! I love coffe aroma in the morning!! it's wonderful cos it gives a so cozy and warm feeling inside, and it's really pleasant to smell it! It makes you to get out of the bed in the morning also
In this drawing he's wearing a kind of pijama or something, and it's supposed to be waking up in early morning, to go work. I really love how this came out, seriously. I'm pretty please with the body shape and limbs (cos the limbs are a bit difficult to draw) but specially the expression!!! cos it makes Randall looks so cute and it represents my expression in some way,cos probably it's the same facial expression I was making at that morning when I smelled the coffee!! I love how the hot vapor of cofee looks here, too This is dedicated to my dear friend with much love, cos she's such a great inspiration, and also a huge coffee and randall fan!
And of course, to all randall/coffee fans!

A lost thought, I got inspired to write some good description for this cos I was listening to this video I found of my all-time favorite classic [link] it's a classic with The Tokens I must to say though, I love the most the melodie from the version that Lebo M performed for The Lion King 3...but the Tokens are the Tokens! they have such an amazing voice, specially Jay Siegel! he has the same voice that he had when the song was released for the first time!
