Necessary Evil.- This is happening before season 2 finale.
- I didn't plan to continue this, just an idea how Chrysalis appeared

From what I remember, Chrysalis escaped from Cerberus when he was on the loose in an earlier episode. But, that's a very subtle plot point, and I like your take on things, too.

Okay, a more specific response: Chrysalis never mentioned Cerberus or Tartarus in "Canterlot Wedding." Admittedly, knowing this show, I wouldn't put it past the writers to reveal something like that later, but as it currently stands, there is no evidence for it.

It most likely was my horrible memory, but Cerberus was meant to guard the gates which sealed away powerful evil being, if I am not mistaken. During that time, the changelings most likely could have escaped. Either way, the theories are all head-canons until proven otherwise.

ever since the Wedding, I've been creating headcanons and theories about how Chrysalis was released/created... after The Crystal Empire even more so (in addition to the release of Sombra)... and I did not, for a second, think of this...
what I'm trying to say... amazing theory... and headcanon accepted and assimilated into my headcanon multiverse...

Luna was all grouchy, because Celestia wanted to test Twilight.
