Description
This is a brief two page narrative for my department's "Meanwhile" comic. I have never done a sequential piece before, so I am proud that I pulled something off.
It's mainly thoughts on the hunter and the hunted and relationships, exploring character design/interaction. I am not sure if I will do more things like this in the future, but I hope you like it! ( Her name is Amalia, the Troll doesn't have a name yet.)

the last panels on each page are my faves - I love the light coming from behind those trees. I can feel the warmth!

This is great work...funny I am also working on a personal project that has a troll in it and my design idea is simple and similar to yours in your art work...but mine you must minus the teeth. keep up the good work!

I think what you pulled off very well is building up the storyline to a climax, adding tension through the beginning hunt, then zooming in on the eyes to convey a mood change and giving us, the 'reader', a feeling of sympathy, to finally have them run on together and put a smile on our faces!
You better do more of these in the future!

I hate to be such a terrible person when you have crafted such a very interesting procession of images, and they really are well done, but aren't many trolls renowned for the fact that they turn into stone in the sunlight? I could really see a somber tone coming over this piece, especially if the woman was a vampire. The hunter and the hunted, laying down their arms to walk into the darkness together.
I don't think that is the case here, this seems to be the beginning of a journey rather than the end of one. Still I can't help but notice the irony when I think about this piece. Good work.
Oh just remember that when making comics about mythical creatures you should never ignore the fact that
