This may look VERY similar to ALOT of you.
This is why:
In 2009, I submitted this and it became quite popular, with over 2000 faves.
However someone, instead of telling me something was wrong so I could fix it, LIKE I ASKED, had to go and be a jerk.
There was something about it that I was reported for, and the deviation was removed.
I figured out the part that it was reported for and removed it.
I had used a picture I had found on photobucket as a finishing pic without knowing it was also here on DA. Just in case it was, I asked in the artist comment AND on the deviation itself, that if someone knew about the original piece, to link me the piece so I may ask the person to keep it on the deviation since I could not find it myself. Instead of telling me, I was reported and not given a chance to fix the issue.
Now that I have fixed the issue, I represent the Ramen Bowl Tutorial of 2009 for you all to enjoy!
My dead computer has the original photoshop program so unfortunately I cannot fix the many spelling errors made from my hasty typing from when a spell check was unavailable to me
So I apologize for them
please send a thankyou to for going through the trouble of saving the original and for being such a sweety to go so far as to post this elswhere and resend it to me!

I'm SO glad to see this tutorial again! I was looking for it forever... I kept seeing finished products made with this tutorial, but never the tutorial itself. Thanks for reposting it!

you might have mixed too much of the pastel chalk. either that or the brand you have is thicker than the one i use

you could order some off the net, I think it is about $8-$12 pending on the brand you get for a good amount. a small bottle lasts forever, I've had mine for 2 years now. But i will say to keep it away from heat and high pressure, it WILL explode XD I figured that out the hard way haha. Nothing like reaching into your art bag and having it come out covered an a sticky slime

summers here are too lol.
Keeping it at room temp is fine, as long as you have good AC. about 50-75 degF cooler i wouldnt recommend because if it heats up again it will expand. if it is TOO hot, put a SMALL icepack or ziplock bag with maybe 2 large icecubes in it, in a linchbox, a dollar tree box is fine, and cover it in paper towels about 3 thick(to keep from condensation from happening) and keep the bottle in the box with the cubes.
there is also a trick to keep the normal clay from "slumping" from the heat in high heat areas if you dont have good AC. it will take a little longer but you can power cool it bu sticking it in the freezer for 5 min when it starts to slump. the only problem is if you pinch too hard after you freeze it it WILL break so you have to handle it carefully
