Rawr. Just a few doodles of one of my favorite naga characters, Savio, that I did during history class. They turned out okay, so I colored 'em and turned it into an on-the-fly ref sheet for him. I obviously didn't get all of his aspects but...yeah. This is mostly just to benefit myself, since even I can't remember what all of my frigging characters look like.Savio (c) Liz C.

S'cool, Savi is closer to a rainbow boa than a corn snake anyway, and I've considered changing his species to that a few times, anyway. But I know another person in the naga community made a character that looks very similar to him based on a rainbow boa, SO. I stuck with effed-up corn-snake.

Now I remember why I gave up drawing them: I always was sweating blood because of those tails, I could never get them positioned nicely. How can you make it look so easy?

You know, I'm not sure /:3 I just kind of added them in, on all of my naga characters. Even in the venomous ones, it's not the fangs themselves that I have transport the venom, but the saliva.
I like the mammalian throwback aspect, though

But fangs evolve in tandem with the development of the saliva into venom, yes? So a nonvenomous snake like a corn has uniform teeth and no really specialized 'fangs'.
