...I really have no idea. It started as a sketch of a face, and then I just started building off of it.

Sooo yes, these are three of my many, many nagas that I often pair together, for one reason or another. On the left is Aolani, the mastermind of the group. He's based on a Kirtland's Snake, a telepath, and is flamboyant as all hell. I believe he might have some gypsy blood in him, despite the fair complexion, but I doubt he'd ever give it a second thought. Middle is Kaphiri, who is based on a Spectacled Cobra (HAHAHA, get it?! Shh, let me think I'm clever) and is generally the scapegoat of the other two, he's very bookish and quiet and polite despite his highly venomous makeup. Right is Hemlock, based on a Russell's Viper, he's generally good-natured as well although his morals are easily manipulated. He has four arms and has a hobby slash obsession with botany and all manner of greenery and flora. Of course, he takes particular pride in his harvests of deadly plants.

Without going into all the details of their relationship, rather just skimming the surface, Aolani now runs an occult shop in the backalleys of some nonspecific city, occasionally aided by the other two, a fairly quiet life. In the past, however, he and Hemlock were quite a bit more sinister, and ran a crime ring in a city somewhere in the Middle East/some other random desert city where it wasn't so unusual to have a seventeen-foot snakemonster for a boss. Hookahs, harem girls (and boys), and all of that stereotypical junk. Kaphiri ran a small library seperately from the pair, although he was bullied into being a records-keeper of sorts for their organization.

There's more to it, of course, but I'm lazy and that gives you a general idea. I like how Hemlock came out in this, not too keen on the other two. Mostly because I like his huge schnozz 8D
