Why is it a color test...? Well, He suggested the color scheme, I finally got my lazy ass to do the coloring in Photoshop. If he doesn't like how anything's turned out, I can go back and alter it. I already partially desaturated the blue and emerald a little because it was so bright compared to the rest of the colors.Anyhoo, waiting for his approval on this one. And Thunderscream - I resized it via DA. If you hit download, you'll get the uber huge fullsized version that you can do with what you wish.

hey, i've been thinking about making my own OC for a while now, but, i'd like some advice from whom i consider the best TF artist before i start.
think you could lend me some pointers?

Wow, this is the first time I've had someone call me the best TF Artist out there! 
Anyhow, if you're just starting out, it's all a matter of practicing. If you're struggling with something specific, don't be afraid to look at what other artists are doing and adapt it to suit your needs... Now I don't mean out-and-out theft or anything like that, but the reason I've gotten to where I am now was from looking at the more advanced TF Artists (*beamer , *mannlich-violet , ~LagunaL8 , and so on) and how they handled things I was having issues with. I hope that helps... xD

I wasn't certain how the blue and the green on his crest would work, but somehow, you managed to pull it off.
The only thing I would change, if possible, is to move the insignia on his thigh to the outside, make it a tad larger, and have the dragon head pointing down. His fist might oscure it a bit, but might enhance it.

Pointing down... as in, in robot mode? Or in Zoid mode. If the latter, it would pretty much be sitting sideways in robot mode. o.o

I personally think just the one sigil on the shoulder would be enough, but that's just me.

You may have a point there. I was thinking that when he transforms, the insignia would be on his Zoid mode as well; but I think it can be "obscured" on the other side of his body instead, since looking at my Zoid model isn't helping me all that much.
