Nice shot! Though I think your covering should have been smaller, for greater effect!

i read that, but if you do use fur in an anti-fur article you make the readers think exactly the opposite way
if you work in or for a magazine you should learn a few things about how it works and how people get things you give them

It was neither a pro- nor anti-fur article. It was an impartial discussion of the different points of view regarding the fur trade and the use of fur in fashion. Impartiality is key in writing anything without making it propaganda for a particular stance.

Think a little more about the images from this series. The use of fur against nude human skin simultaneously identifies the nature of fur; the skin of an animal, and goes some way to showing the animal within us.

so you don't find it selfish and cruel from human behalf to use animals souls just for fashion, money and vanity?
human supposed to be the best creation of god right?and that's the way to show everyone that he's the master?by killing, destroying and polluting the planet for shitty reasons such as fashion?
i would really like to know your opinion about it

While I don't condone the continuation of the fur trade, I see nothing wrong in the continued use of vintage furs (such as the ones in these photos) - if anything it provides longevity to the usefullness of the animal. Surely it's better to continue to use it than for it to be destroyed or to sit at the back of a cupboard forever?

However, for as long as the human race has existed it has hunted animals for food and clothing. This is the natural heirarchy and I do become frustrated when people dismiss it. It has nothing to do with God in my eyes, but yes - humans are the 'greatest' animal - we have developed language and technology etc. and to some extent we have earned the right to use 'lower' animals. No one chastises the lion for eating the antelope.

i think you make a mistake here...the animals kill other animals to feed.if they do not feed they die.they kill only the animals they need for their food not as many animals they can for selfish reasons such as fashion.the same thing exists for the humans in the past.i am not against the trying of every alive person to survive,i am against all this cruelty.do you have any idea how the animals are killed just for their fur?they are skinned alive and let die.i've seen videos of that cruelty where the animals cries and suffers.do you imagine their pain?how would YOU personaly feel if someone skinned you alive just for wearing your skin?
but i think that all that imports you is your fashion article and which club you'll visit tonight.people like you are not caring for anything else.i hope you will never ever suffer as some other souls do

You are clutching at straws. The minute you start making generalisations and making assumptions about me is the minute I stop caring about what you have to say. Let's end this here.

"...longevity to the usefullness of the animal."

Ohhhhh, how very thoughtful and considerate; I'm sure the animal who was skinned--very probably alive--and is DEAD now will appreciate the longetivity of his or her "usefullness".

I'm not against the use of animals for food or clothing; I'm against the inhumane treatment given to those animals in the process.

Do you eat meat in that glass house of yours?
Surely synthetic mass produced clothing is much worse for the environment, and as a result the animals, than killing something and making the most of it.
