So there's this epic tree outside my window, some sort of conifer, and frequently in the mornings there is an adorably exuberant blue jay who hangs out there and yells and cracks nuts on the side of the house. And I KNEW I'd have to make a character out of it. So here's a Tookie Islander for
Name: Mimsy
Aery: Tookie Island
Gender: Female
Species Combination: Interior Blue Jay/Melanistic Eastern Gray Squirrel (Cyanocitta cristata cyanotephra/sciurus carolinensis)
Personality: Mimsy loves two things in this world: shinies and peanuts. Mimsy will eat All The Peanuts. ALL THE PEANUTS. All for Mimsy! No Sharing! Mimsy Prettypretty girl, brave fighter of Big Gryphs! Mimsy scares them with loud noises! They will not take her shinies and peanuts!

further notes: I decided to make her the Interior subspecies because of the darker blue and higher contrast coloring, which works well, I think, with her squirrel parts. The fur is actually dark dark blue rather than black. This is so much more fun to draw than mottled grey and brown spottyness, omg.
