EDIT I forgot to add some information, so here it comes:burn tool settings: midtones with an exposure of 20-30%
dodge tool settings: highlights with an exposure of 50% (can be higher or lower, depending on what works best for you)

I use photoshop CS3, but I think any version will do, as long as you have the burn/dodge tool in it

a few questions that may help others looking at this tutorial: which setting do you have the dodge/burn tool on: Highlights, midtones or shadows? Strength of the dodge and Burn tools are at what %?

that's why i said Video, you don't have to explain anything, you just have to put labels on the things that you're using, they can watch what you're doing otherwise. Unfortunately, DA doesn't have that except for flash, which sucks.
