Description Garik in 's style.

Oh, dem dimples.

*burdge-bug usually works with traditional media, which I don't have at my disposal, so I tried to keep it from looking too digital and give it a more traditional feel. As I said on another project, I found mimicking her style a little challenging because ours are just similar enough that I kept gravitating towards my own. Hopefully, her style stands out.

(I know technically I shouldn't be on, but i saw this when I was running around and doing my *ahem* legit work... and I couldn't HELP but comment)

Oh. my... GOSH! that... seriously! That... that looks JUST like hers! And I keep staring and staring and STARING and looking for the 'loophole'. DANG, Avanna! I can't find it! it looks JUST like Burdge's style! You got the folds... the HAIR and the 'lines/shading' thing she does!

(happy sigh) oh my word. I'm going to be SO very naughty and read chapter 38 tonight! I need a good does of Hitchups!! I've missed you!!

Why should you be on? You should be on all the time, that's what I think.

YES! Oh really? It looks like hers?! I'm so relieved because I actually struggled with it because I was afraid I kept making it look too much like mine. I really focused on giving it the 'pencil scratched' look to cancel it out and tried to make everything muted, grey lines. It's all an optical illusion. But really, you've relieved me so much with this comment, knowing her style reads through well enough.

(weeeellll, technically I hvae some 'work' that needs done ;D But I thought I'd take a peek or two at some art and stories ;D I wish I could be on all the time!! :sigh: And you too! )

(oh yes! Seriously! it does!! And I should know. i've printed off SO many of her drawings it's INSANE!! I studied it like crazy!! you DID a good job with the pencil scratched look. I know her stuff like the back of my hand (shameful, I know... but I ADORE her work so much) so I knew exactly what to look for. You really pulled it off brilliantly!!

YES! I read more! Only two chapters left! And it's a CLIFF-HANGER!! awwww! i made your day?! Well that makes mine!
