I'm so funny!!!See? There's the "Viking way" of parenting and then there's "Hiccup's way".
Hiccup might not be comfortable with the yelling and spanking thing, but underhanded mind inception? That's right up his ally
Plus, he has Gobber is his willing sidekick with an arm prosthetic.
IT WAS TOO PERFECT! I had to do it.
Clearly I don't have the comic skills of *FjordMustang or *bloodmoon14 but I gave it a shot anyway.

This was nice on so many levels- and just the way Gobber and Hiccup would prank a lesson into two kids who wouldn't learn any other way. You draw Gobber very well, too.
And thanks for the kind comments about my comic work. I've no doubt Bloodmoon14 is the best, but you would come in second, I think, in fan popularity.

Nice that you liked how Gobber came out - I don't draw him too often. I have a picture of Stoick coming up later too. I don't know if you watch Arrested Development, but that's where the pranking idea came from. George Bluth has quite a few less morals than Hiccup does, but there are some qualities they share.

No, I have not seen "Arrested Development," but I have seen/done/been the victim of such "educational" pranks. One that sticks out in my mind that happened recently was a video I saw of a college professor who caught a student texting during his class. He then proceeded to call the student up to the lecture stand and then smashed with the student's iphone with a hammer he kept in his podium for that purpose. It wasn't until the very end that the professor let on the student was a hired actor and it was all a skit put on as a realistic warning to would be class texters.
