Description
Name: AquilaBorn: March 15, 27 BC; Rome, Roman Empire
Died: January 16, 72; Rome, Roman Empire (age 98)
Allegiance: Assassins
Bio: Aquila was the first and only daughter of Avis Aquilus Liberator, a well-respected nobleman and an ex-senator of the Roman Republic before the death of Julius Caesar. She lived the high life of nobility, with the finest clothes and the utmost comforts. Unlike most Roman families however, her father took it upon himself to raise her and educate her in things like philosophy and self-defense. Not that she minded, of course. Growing up, she just assumed she was a lucky girl.
Her luck would run out in 10 BC, when a group of armed soldiers came into her home and arrested her father. Scared and confused, she ran away and hid with her mother until later that night. She snuck into the prison in which her father was being held, and he explained to her that there was a major conspiracy afoot. He told her that he wasn't all he appeared to be, that he was a member of an ancient Brotherhood called the Liberalis Circulum (known today as the Assassins) and that in 45 BC, he was one of the senators that helped assassinate Julius Caesar, as the consul had many ties to the Liberalis Circulum’s mortal enemies, the Order of Ancients (known today as the Templars). He told Aquila that she needed to escape and find his robes and weapons, and to seek out the Brotherhood’s hideout. She begged him to let her help, but he insisted that there was no time, that his life meant nothing compared to the liberty of the Roman people. Aquila, eyes full of tears, rushed back home and did as her father asked. Her father was executed the following morning.
Aquila, now clad in her father's robes and armed with his blades, searched all throughout Rome for a symbol that matched that of the Liberalis Circulum. She eventually found it after stumbling into a series of catacombs that landed her in the ancient Temple of Juno, where the Liberalis Circulum made their hideout. They took her in, explaining that their influence over Rome had been greatly diminished after the deaths of Marcus Junius Brutus and Gaius Cassius Longinus. The Order of Ancients now had a firm grip on the Roman Empire, as they used Emperor Augustus as their puppet for control. Aquila swore to avenge her father and continue his work by bringing liberty to Rome. After decades of eliminating the Order’s top dogs throughout not just Rome but the Empire itself, she eventually assassinated Augustus in 14.
As the years went on, Aquila rose through the Liberalis Circulum’s ranks, eventually earning her the title of Mentor in her older years. In 37, a mad agent of the Order by the name of Caligula became emperor of Rome. An oppressive leader with many screws loose, the Liberalis Circulum knew they had to put an end to him, which they did in 41 when Aquila and her student, Leonius, ambushed the emperor with their allies and stabbed him until he died. After him came his successor Claudius, and after his death in 54 came another tyrant: Nero, another member of the Order. Aquila led her allies against his plots throughout his reign, such as when they tried to evacuate the city during the Great Fire in 64. They eventually claimed Nero's life in 68.
Aquila eventually passed away peacefully of old age in the year 72, just as construction of the Colosseum had begun under Emperor Vespasian.
She is an ancestor of Ava Arlie.

I thought the rumor was that Augustus' wife poisoned him, though historically it was almost certainly just him being old and having a history of bad health. Caligula was the first emperor we know was assassinated, though rumor has it he smothered Tiberius to death. Given what Tiberius did to Caligula's side of the family, hard to blame him even if Caligula was a power-hungry vain neurotic at best.

There are a lot of assassination targets in AC that historically died of natural causes lol

That's what gives conspiracy theorists fodder. People suspected that President Harding was poisoned by his wife due to being a philanderer, and President Taylor was poisoned instead of just the awful Washington sewage system so he couldn't argue the new states should be free states(he was a slaveowner, but an experienced general and probably knew this would lead to friction). Most historians think that Claudius was poisoned by his wife Aggripina to ensure her son Nero becomes emperor and she could rule through him.

I guarantee that somewhere out there there's at least one conspiracy per powerful leader in human history about them being poisoned for whatever screw up they made big or small XD

Nice job on her!
I haven't read the description, but is she an ancient Roman assassin?
Because of the design, which reminds me of the outfits of the Roman nobility and some party remind me of gladiotors.
Oh, and because her name is “Aquila“ (eagle) xD

Nothing is true. Everything is permitted XD
Nichts ist wahr. Alles ist erlaubt.
Sadly we have never learnt to translate from German (mother language) to Latin...when we asked to do it, my teacher looked at us like a fury monster and said "NO! This isn't allowed! You can not do this!"

Oh nu That's unfortunate. At my school, they offered 7 different language courses: Latin, German, French, Spanish, Chinese, Japanese, and Hebrew. So we had a wide selection
lol

Yes
Wow! These are a lot of languages to learn!
It is cool that you could learn another language, because a friend once told me that it is rather uncommon in English-speaking countries to learn a second language

Really? That's odd Where I live, we were required to learn another language in order to graduate school

Yeah, they always told me that they were sad that they didn't have to learn a second language.
But awesome that you was required to learn another language, because it is cool to know another language
(Even though Latin teachers are always a little bit...strange? XD)
Now I am teaching an Australian friend some German

G.drandpa Şehmus went to korean war to help south korea,he met a english-chinese girl named "Beth Lin"(he was at 70 years old but ill explain to why he didnt die so easily) ,he met her during she was wounded by mine bomb because of chinese templars though she's an assassin(just like his decaesed father Ziang-lin) but luckily he saved her and she joined with his advanture.(he had to used shroud of eden on her body in less seconds)
After ariving to south korean,he met a korean assassin lad named Hyeon-Lee(he joined this war too but also he trained by Şehmus to strenghten the brotherhood),luckily Beth the relationship with Hyeon has begun to live.(of courcse many years passed)
Also he went to korean other reason is The staff of eden captured secretly by soviet sergeant Gleb because gleb wanted to be god and turn the war to his advantage but failed and killed by Hyeon.
ill tell why he lived 128 years in real life him happiness and morales didnt break, he was didnt think and used bad things and he was always stays warmblooded man (this warm-heartedness passes from family to family)
in fiction he used shroud of eden once on himself for 24 hours(he was mortally wounded by rain bullet to sacrifice himself because of templars tried kill Mustafa Kemal Atatürk) shroud healed and made him very little bit younger stronger(just like lazarous pit) but made suffering in many days(he saw many visions about isu and doomsday of 2012)
