Bio: Aren was born in London to two Assassins named Efron Nesher and Amoldine Arlington. Growing up, he was raised in the ways of the Brotherhood in both fighting and philosophy. He inherited his mother's bubbly sarcastic personality, giving him a charm that always kept him positive through any mission no matter how bad it seemed to get. Amoldine had several connections to the Royal Family as well, which proved a great benefit to the English Assassins.

In 1982, tensions between the UK and Argentina were increasing over claims to the Falkland Islands. Argentine forces invaded the islands in April, and Aren was sent down with his mother to infiltrate the British military and eliminate any Templar influence during the conflict. It was during this time that he met Master Templar, Cole Morgenster, who was searching for a Piece of Eden that had been delivered to the Islands from Indonesia long ago. Aren found the Piece, known as the Pick, first and hid it away when the Falklands War had ended. He and Morgenster practically became arch-nemeses to each other after that. The Pick later fell into the hands of two Assassins named Tim and Jen Spainhower in 1988, and Aren met with them and took the Pick back to England.

In 1994, Aren rescued a young woman named Kiki Arlie when Morgenster's Templars caught her snooping. Aren explained that he was a member of the Assassins and that his enemies were after the Pick of Eden. He gave Kiki an offer to join him on his adventures, and she eventually accepted. The two became best friends, inseparable. They got married in 1995, and their daughter Ava was born in 1996. In 1997, they also went to Paris trying and failing to stop the Templars from killing Princess Diana.

The family lived a happy life in Kiki’s home town of Minneapolis for a while. Aren was gone from the family's lives by 2000 however. Ava had lost all memory of what happened to him, as she was too young at the time. Her mother continued to raise their daughter with her mother Wanbli for the rest of her adolescence.
