That's awesome ^^ I've never been there myself but I wouldn't mind taking a trip there to see the history.Β I grew up in Indianapolis though so I'm definitely more of a city girl XD

Itβs a nice little town tbh. A lot of history about Indiana statehood if your into that sort of stuff. Their historical society needs to step up their game in my opinion though. Thereβs a few things things down there that need to be touched up but they never done it for idk how any years. People seem to not care anymore now.

Yeah, unfortunately those smaller towns tend to get a bit lax about records over the years Indiana as a whole actually has really good resources compared to other states though.Β I do genealogy as a hobby for example and I'm able to find a surprising amount of family history in detailed records for those who lived in Indiana.Β But the records always seem to get much hazier whenever I'm trying to research a person from outside the state.

XD Thanks.Β The only reason I got the horse anatomy right was because I kept checking it with my friend Hannah.Β She yells at me if I get horse anatomy wrong XD

THIS BLUE IS SO BLUE!!!!!!
You have created a wonderful dynamic atmosphere in this picture with Priscilla jumping over the dead tree on a horse! The anatomy of the horse looks great and I really like the way you have drawn her clothes flapping in the wind...You always draw clothes and folds so good! (I mean...the folds in the flag are awesome!)

Yeeeeeeeeeee blue!
And thanks again Kimmie ^^ The Civil War is one of my favorite time periods so whenever I draw event from it, I try my best to capture the epicness of it as much as possible

You are very welcome
It is hard to draw from real history, since you must search for a lot of informations from this time....luckily we live in a time of internet, but it is still so much work!Especially since you draw a lot from real history! D:

It can be difficult when there aren't a lot of image references from a certain event XD Luckily the closer to the modern day it is, the less guess work you have to fiddle with

That's true! It is really hard to find good references for something that happened thousands of years ago D:

So true XD Especially when most art from times like the medieval era are all stylized and don't have any perspective or accuracy in them like later Renaissance paintings do

Oh yeah XD When you look at medieval pictures the important things are usually REALLY huge....so it happens that an important knight is bigger than his castle XD But I still like this painting style

XD They didn't care much for perspective and proportions.Β But ye it still has it's artistic merits
