I've been drawing - a lot of kaiju lately.

Just one of several redraws/redesigns that I've been working on. Once I've finished I might go into more explanation on them all.

MINOR NOTE: I call this a "redesign," and to a point that's true...I'm bringing in a lot of different turtle design elements that are true to nature, and just trying to meaningfully blend those things together with the design that already works...but I find myself trying to be very mindful and respectful to the modern take on Gamera, which I guess is the Heisei and Rebirth designs that most people gravitate toward. Mostly because I just really, really like it. I still am playing around with the idea of the saber-teeth, but mostly this is not that ambitious a rethink for where they are or how they function, etc. Other designs might turn them into tusks or something, but...that for another time, I guess.

Anyway. This is somewhat based on a previous design I did, which I don't think I've posted yet. Both are intended to be designed as though they could be made into practical suits. I'll bet this one would be pretty heavy, lol.
