Added and inked some more sketches.

I don't know what to do with the mouth. I don't want to just make another kaiju that apes Orga's big mouth. I do like the look of the top head and how the mouth basically can expand to an incredible size but it still has connective tissue (cheeks?), but I still feel like it is maybe still a little too "human" that way. Which is part of the point, dipping into the uncanny valley a little, but...yeah, I don't know, it's not quite where I want it to be.

HOWEVER...I love the idea of the kaiju opening its mouth and it doesn't have a beam weapon or something...it's just effing arms. Lots and lots of grabby arms, like it's an eldritch beast from Ghostbusters or something. Can you imagine a battle with Godzilla (or anyone) where this thing opens its mouth and it's just a dozen different arms fighting to claw their way out and pull something in? I'm personally in love with that horrifying imagery.

I feel like there is a seed of backstory there, actually. Maybe the kaiju itself is a vengeful ghost or spirit, but part of its power or a source of its power are many multiple restless spirits, or the victims of a certain crime or event? I am currently studying Japanese mythology, folklore and spirituality to come up with something appropriate and, in its own way, respectful, not...ignorant and terrible. I will figure it out. Or, you know, if I need to course-correct, I will.
