I loved this. Being very slightly on the older end of spectrum here on DA, it was fun to see a long lived couple who obviously are healthy and happy and good looking based on their age. Can't you imagine how fun they'd be for the grandkids to visit? And the stories they'd have for them?
It makes me not afraid to grow old.
And that last reply of yours - the philosophical one about happily ever after- was well written.
My only question is what is behind Toothless' expression? Obviously dragons live longer than their humans...
