Nice drawings in your gallery btw. You'll want to work on contrast though, because the shades in your sketches are being lost in the process and they're becoming quite over exposed and whited out.
Do you use a digital camera by chance? That could be the cause of it. If you don't have a photo editting program like Photoshop, your digital camera should have an exposure setting that you can adjust to make your graphite lines stand out more.
It'll make your stuff look much better too. ^~^

lol yeah, they aren't anywhere's near perfect though. If we're gonna talk about the mane I don't really like in this picture, well.. it's just about all of them. It's always the hardest part for me, cause whenever I judge where her neck is, I'm usually wrong.
I even draw in neck muscles and clavicles, but I guess I'm too concerned about if her head looks good on her shoulders to focus on the very thing that obscures it.. That's kinda why the mane looks weird.

hmmmmmm.... maybe you should expose some of the neck, instead of trying to completely cover the neck with the mane.
just a suggestion, I've never tried it for myself, so I don't know how that would turn out

Hmm, I think I've tried that.. it worked out ok, but it still looked a little odd. The design for renamon was very simplistic, and from my recollection, the mane was a single solid but cell shaded piece.. and quite flowing as well. I've seen many variations, but the ones that were the closest to the original looked the best.
But, it's kinda hard when you don't wanna copy something exactly =/
