Description
(I recommend playing "Across the Universe" by The Beatles)Fill out a form outlining what you did in a playthrough of Mass Effect and it will create a tailored epilogue that is coherent and in-line with the established canon.
This will be updated in accordance with feedback and additional DLC.
ANSWER KEY: 11/24/2013 is the first birthday of this Flash. Woohoo! In light of such, I'm finally releasing the answer key to show how to get all the secret responses!
If you're using this Flash for the first time, don't look at the answer key just yet, it's way more fun to be surprised the first time around.

UPDATE: Omega (12/01/2012)
Finally finished updating this for Omega. I also took a good amount of user criticism into account. Here's what's been changed:
-Omega DLC has been incorporated, but the only thing it really affects is making the Cerberus blurb on Earth's slide go down a level. (i.e. Cerberus is less powerful after war)
-Fixed bug where Garrus was given an epilogue even if he died. I also gave an addition to his romance ending if Pinnacle Station DLC was complete.
-For fans of Wrex, there's an extra bit if you did right by him throughout the series.
-The biggest thing I added was ME2 romance epilogues. I originally didn't focus too much on ME2 squadmates since they all got a spotlight in Extended Cut, but there were some who romanced Miranda or Jack who were disappointed that they didn't get any payoff. To alleviate this, Miranda, Jack, and even Thane have their own epilogues if romanced.
-Edited the Rannoch page so the state of quarian immunity is explained.
-Few other minor edits and revisions.
Bug Fix: (12/13/12)
-Fixed a bug that gave epilogues to everyone even if the galaxy had been destroyed.
Citadel Update: I really am trying to work on thee update for The Citadel DLC, but I've been swamped with other obligations. It'll be awhile before I can submit it, but I have not forgotten it. Thanks for the patience and support, all.
(4/19/2013)
Passing the 10,000 views mark was a very nice birthday present.
UPDATE: Citadel (5/26/2013)
I have finally, *finally* complete the Citadel update. I really wanted to release this sooner, but I just could not find the time to work on it. Here are the new additions:
-The Normandy now has an epilogue! Your ship can actually be destroyed or emerge victorious from the Battle for Earth.
-The asari now have an epilogue! This was actually something that I meant to include in the original version, but it fell to the wayside a bit.
-Incorporated Citadel DLC. As awesome as Citadel was, the only thing I could really think to include for it is a slight bonus to Normandy's survivability. If you haven't played Citadel, get it. It's well worth the price.
-Reckoning DLC gets a very brief mention in the "Eradicate Reaper Code" end.
-I converted the last slide into an experimental idea I had that's called Legacy. It has a summary of everything that occurred in your ending which can be screencapped and put on your gallery for all to see. Not sure how much that will actually be used, but if you do decide to put it in your gallery, be sure to let me know. I love seeing the results that others get on this.
-Altered Leviathan settings. If you take control of the Reapers, the Leviathans are now automatically defeated.
-Fixed a bunch of typos.

I wrote it so the only possible way you can't broker peace is if Tali and/or Legion is dead. I've tested this several times and it's worked just fine for me every time.

I have heard of it. I didn't bother watching it because a "Happy" ending isn't what we should look for. What we SHOULD expect is an end that reacts to the player's choices and can be bittersweet, sad, or anywhere in between. Though it would be pretty awesome if somebody modded these epilogues and parameters into the PC version.

this is a work of pure genius!
The only thing I thought was weird is that I had all the squadmates from me2 survive, did everything paragon in me 3 and I didn't get the option to broker peace between the geth and the quarians, which is what happened in the game?
Why was that?

Averross In reply to rohansoldier [2012-11-29 16:57:14 +0000 UTC]
That's weird. I'm pretty sure the only thing that affects whether or not you can make peace is whether or not Tali and Legion are both alive. I tested it just now and it works fine for me.

Ouch, the Dalatrass was 'retired' by the STG. Nasty.
And the damn Batarians would continue the war. Fortunately, no matter what Balak might think, the Batarians were more messed up than humanity, and we still had some prime colonies to make into a 'new Earth'.
Poor Earth. Had to be done though.
This is a great little piece of fan fiction. Well done.

Thank you for this. I'm glad people like you take the time to make ME3 better in their own way. I wish BioWare would quit with their 'artistic integrity' BS and admit that they screwed up.

kato42 In reply to elvenblood [2012-11-29 00:01:19 +0000 UTC]
I honestly thought the would take the 'Publicity Stunt' option (which would obviously have been a lie, but it would have bought them time), and release a completely different ending after a few months, but instead they just took some of the better community ideas on how to make the existing ending tolerable and released the 'Extended' version.
Typical EA, the cheapest option they could. Although I admit to being surprised they didn't charge for the Extended Cut DLC.

Ah no matter, that aside this is still far better than the crap Hudson and Super Mac came up with. Nice work.

Averross In reply to William276 [2012-11-28 01:04:11 +0000 UTC]
Yeah, sorry about that. I mostly focused on ME3's squadmates because everyone from 2 got their own thing in Extended Cut, but I probably should have included the romances. I'll definitely keep this in mind for the Omega update.
If it means anything, Miranda's romance DOES get a mention if you joined the new Cerberus...

Bioware is dead. Even the two original owners that stuck around under EA finally left (with a pile of money in their pockets). Absolutely everyone that had made Bioware awesome has left now. Its just another EA Husk now. It'll flail around for a few more years, put out a few more games that will probably suck, and then quietly cease to exist, absorbed fully into the EA gestalt.

I think its the main reason EA has such a bad rep. They buy up good companies that make interesting games, and turn them into just another EA shop that makes the same average game as the rest of EA makes.
Sadly, average and repetitive sells more.

survivor686 In reply to kato42 [2012-12-03 01:43:01 +0000 UTC]
Or maybe EA is just comfortable for shooters in general. Almost everything EA touches ends up having a shooter set in it.
Still with EA games I've learned to purchase them a long time after the release. What with the inevitable DLC and all.

kato42 In reply to survivor686 [2012-12-03 20:46:38 +0000 UTC]
And all these shooters end up being very similar. Its the same problem as with Hollywood - formula. Something worked once, so lets do it over and over a million times until we can't milk another penny out of it.

It's pretty good, and I really appreciate all the contingencies, but you could use some proof-reading (its/it's, "expunged from office" instead of "expelled from office") and it would be great if it had a dedicated epilogue for each romance option.
Nice work!

Oh, this is wonderful! Genius!
This is going straight into my favorites!
I tried but the mission ended in failure, too much time has passed for me to know exactly what my levels were. I am going to check again in my Mass Effect 3 disk and try to give estimates. So many weeks, months have passed that my EMS points on the galaxy map dropped down to close to 50 percent, it might be at that level now. Guess I should put it at six thousand, maybe ten thousand. I had it at four thousand but I just cannot remember what my level used to be.

Simply awesome.
It's all these new ending stories that prove how awesome the fans truly are. In fact, if it weren't for the horrendous ending, most of these stories probably wouldn't even exist. I enjoy everyone picking and choosing their own end to their journey. I don't blame BioWare that much anymore. It would be impossible to please every single fan.
I feel like doing a comic based on the ending I received in this awesome narrative flash.
