Description Another shot of the little helper. So young and still out there pitching in. Here she is helping her grandmother carry beans in her little back pack.

Out there in the rural areas of China even the little ones got to help out with everything. Here at this little road side restaurant, the whole family works in the kitchen or the fields all day to make ends meet. It’s a pretty warm thought in some ways, the whole family together, doing whatever need to be done and such.

Anyho, took this photo out there in Western China in Tan Ke. I personally like this photo because of the angle and how the little girl was looking up at me. Taken with my usual mix of Canon 30V and the 28-135mm IS on Fuji 100.

Sweet shot. Would be better if you can show the whole of the man's basket though.

That's an awesome shot! Love how the composition leads your eye from the top of the picture where the large bunch of beans are, down to the little girl's face. Beautiful!

yeah, when I originaly shot this photo I was worried about having to many points of interest in it that would keep interest off the main topic I wanted to shoot, which was the girl putting on he pack, but I guess it works in some ways

Wow....I'm truly impressed by the amount her grandmother manages to carry on her back...what are they carrying? The little one is adorable, she seems very serious about helping out!

Yeah, I like that fuji 100, I would like to get my hands on some fuji provia or velvia but its very hard to come by around here since most people use kodak

I think your best bet is to go out and just pick up about 2-3 rolls of each brand and also depending on how you shoot, try out different iso's.

Just a word to the wise though, kodak is good...sometimes....for shooting peoples faces or things that tend to be more to the red side of the spectrum, fuji is ballanced more to greens and lighter colors, but still handels reds and such with good ballance. Also if you are feeling trendy you can try out agfa, I use agfa slide film sometimes because it gives really brilliant colors but they all tend to be a little dark.

either way just try them all out, although since I already know the lens you are getting ill tell you that it tends to shoot a wee bit light so keep that in mind

yeah I was looking around last night on the internet at some film reviews and such and learned a bit about what you are talking about between the kodak and fuji films... Fugi dose have really nice greens... I was looking at Fugi Superia 100... but I think that will be hard to find. To me sharpness and resolution will be the most important to me. along with nicely saturated colors. I would like to get some film with RMS 4 grain or lower. I think I will have to take a trip to a few camera stores to see what is carried around here.

fuji superia is hard to find?????????????????????? Its very easy to find here although no one uses it so ou gota hunt down the deals sometimes. I bought two boxes (20 rolls) of superia 100 film for 12.3 yuan per roll, or about $1.50 each.

Yeah, and if you are worried about grain, dont be, people are far to held up on grain and noise and all that shit. But I still stand by what I said before, go buy a few rolls of everything you can find.

Actually I am not sure how hard to find it will be. I havent checked... I am going to take a look at some stores around oly and see what they carry. I will have to try out some different films for sure. See what I like the best.
