Jakks Pacific's giant size Godzilla I have it.

One thing I have a problem with the toy is that it looks real cheap. Maybe in the future they will add more joints, like, in the elbows, knees, neck and what not. I love the design of the King. Very realistic and has an eerie color tone to it.

What you're asking is for an SH Monsterarts Godzilla 2014 toys, which is already said it will be maid, but these are toys that are made by Bandai and Jakks Pacific, so you have to excuse the limited articulation these toys have.

I will say it is an interesting look. It is pretty conservative and naturalistic, yet it still looks like the Godzilla we all love! I think the people behind this design were trying to make him more believable - I will admit, the spins do seem kind of small but then again there were at times his spins were just too fucking crazy.

The spikes are bigger in the movie.

They looked small in the trailer, but then again they show a glimpse of them

I don't get why the people were complaining about the feet. They never notice that large animals needed big stumpy legs to support their weight.

Now we need a SH Monsterart version of this!

Love that design its so hard to believe there's a lot of childish fan boys on Facebook whining about this.

Ooh the spines are short or the necks not tall enough, feet are too small.

cut me a break.

if they actually think before they act they would notice that in the teaser trailer his spines were longer and obviously for this to the spines were shortened and roundedΒ for safety, cuz kids are buying it too.

A bunch of spoiled brats, that's what they are, they should be thankful it doesn't look like Zilla.

There was actually one fan or a troll who was pretending that he's a fan, saying that he doesn't like the new design at all it just looks like a redesignlook of zilla.

I don't see how. The spikes look like Godzilla, the body looks like Godzilla, the feet and legs looks like Godzilla, the roar sounds like Godzilla, it's the real Godzilla, so what is that troll talking about?

That's exactly what I like to know.

Ohhhhhh Yeah!!!!! The new Godzilla looks soooo great!!! Even in Toy form. My only quibble and it's a small one, is that like others I do wish his back plates wereΒ at least a bit bigger. I do understand this is a toy, and not the exact way we'll see him in the movie, and even if in the movie the plates are this proportionately small, this version of Godzilla still looks superb! To my mind, Godzilla's plates should be sized as they were in Godzillas 1954-65. Those ramges look fantastic to me.Β  Even in the movies 1985-1996 looked very, very good and well sized. I did very much like the look of Godzilla in Godzilla 2000 and beyond, but to me those plates were too big and fragile looking to me. So, in the end, I'm not going to get too gripy about the plate look. I just accept that this is the look for THIS version of Godzilla and I'm just very anxious and hopeful that the movie rocks just as good as it looks like it's going to.

This isn't just the "2014 version", as Gareth Edwards said, this is "the true original Godzilla".

It would be cool if this is true and it works out this way, however the actual true original Godzilla is of course the Toho 1954 "Godzilla: King of the Monsters" version and this new Godzilla no matter how good it is can ever change this fact. I do wish him well though, and I am very much looking forward to this newest version of Godzilla. This new design is definitely a great one, and a keeper.

"Godzilla: King of the Monsters" was in 1956, "Gojira" was 1954. But I'm just saying what Edwards said, and, well, he said he want this Godzilla to be like the '54 Godzilla, the true original.

Ooops. You're right. Thank you for the correction here. I do try to get my info correct, but I did goof on this one. However, you know what I was talking about, so we're cool here. That's cool what Gareth Edwards is saying though. I do admire where he's coming from on this. On a bit of a different note...I just watched Pacific Rim for the first time the other night, and "Oh Wow!! " was that ever a great movie! I do hope the new Godzilla movie is as good as that or even better.

Actually, the design means to be if the original designers saw the true creature first, then head down to the studio to design it

His chest looks like Gamera's a bit.

As for the spines, they probably shortened them for safety.
