Description
This the official Godzilla design in 12" figure form. But like the sign next to the toy says "MODELS ARE NOT FINAL PENDING LICENSOR APPROVAL".This picture was found by Wikizilla - godzilla.wikia.com/wiki/Specia….
BTW, can you comment on ANYTHING ELSE BESIDES THE FEET??? I'd appreciate it if you could.

Godzilla can eat well over a million pounds of food in one sitting and not gain a pound...but when he has a couple bites of Mcdonald's, it's a different story. He's so darn fat his spines are caving into his very flesh. Hell he's so darn fat that even his face is caving in. He's dealing with major back pain and is bound to collapse...and when he does...it's the final blow. Godzilla will have killed himself under his own weight. lol
Just being a butt, he's a pretty interesting model to say the least XD

No offense but I do not like it In mean it does look s like Godzilla but the spikes , well for me are too short and the arms too long and no comment about the feet

Well, to be fair, this is just a toy, 95% of all toys looks a bit less accurate than the film version, and in the trailer, and posters, Godzilla's spikes are bigger and the tail isn't that pointy.

To be fair, Godzilla has had smaller spikes before, even Final Wars, so this isn't nothing new.

Yeah, but you know, just imagine how awesome it would have been to see Godzilla in his CGI spiky gloriousness. This design is by no means bad, by the way, it's actually better than anything I could have hoped for.

In my opinion, there is no design more perfect as this, and I think most of that comes from the fact that this design is faithful to the original, it takes the classic beast and gives an updated, and modernized image, while staying faithful and respect the original suit designs that we've seen in the past at the same time. This new design is EVRYTHING I was expecting to get, I expected Godzilla to look different, I wanted him to look different, I'm all for updating Godzilla into a more modern look, and I knew he was gonna be in CGI this time, and, in my opinion, what I got did not disappoint me, it is a million times satisfying. "Godzilla has small spikes", some of the classic designs had smaller spikes, this one isn't any different; "Godzilla's feet look too different", you have to remember that this IS a modern Godzilla design, so I understand it'll take some time getting used to; "he looks skinny", I don't know, he looks BIG, he still has that massive body structure we're all familiar with. What I just adore about this design is that, even than the fact that this is a modern and updated image of the classic movie monster, you can really tell it's Godzilla, it's an updated look but still respects the original, and stays faithful all the way through, and I think people should be thankful for it, people should be more thankful that this is, BY ANY MEANS, a very faithful Godzilla design, and it's a million times better than Zilla.

I love this design. Its my fav godzilla so far! The overall design is very wise. The head has such a vicious silhouette, The spikes are mean looking without being all crazy and the torso and lower body looks way better. Older versions seemed to keep with the baggy pants fat legs and bedrooms slippers look, where as this design gives a real sense of musculature behind such massive pillers. I love how he tail thins out, like a real living creature. AND the croc-like scales are awesome. This design gives that scary sense of reality: He's a giant unpredictable wild animal that could kill u with no remorse! Reminds me a LOT of a Postosuchus!

I love the hands. They're perfect for me 8D Even the feet are amazing. And plus the blue on his skin is a reflection, I think. The only problem is the snout. It looks like he has a over mouth with buck teeth.

This is probably one of those toys that has a mouth you can open and make the over-jaw look bigger, the toys I used to have always had a bigger over-jaw.

Godzilla has had smaller spikes before, so this really isn't different, and the feet...well, you can say it's a new modern look, but it's actually interesting if you ask me, it's strongly resembles a sauropod's feet, but they still say "Godzilla" to me.

I didn't say anything about the feet, we were asked not to, so I didn't. I also didn't say anything about the spikes being different. I just stated that, for me, the head and spines are too small. It isn't an issue of being different, or not. It all stills says "Godzilla" to me as well, but I would prefer it said "Godzilla" with a larger head and spines.
That being said, the smaller spines make more since for a monster that is going to engage in physical combat, so I don't mind that one some much. However, the small head really bugs me. If Godzilla is going to fight other kaiju it really needs a big set of chompers IMHO.

Oh, sorry, I misread that. I think that a small headed Godzilla makes him look much bigger and powerful, you know kind of like when Hulk transform and you see that he has a small head and the rest of his body seems to be too big. As for the teeth, I'll wait for the movie to see what he can really do.

Let me be a little bit more specific: long before this movie was even on development, not only was the 2014 design the one I always pictured in my imagination and dreams, but I've always pictured Godzilla with those feet, and I personally love them, they look very fitting for a Godzilla design. And I highly disagree with you saying that it was a "bad" decision for the design, especially when one of the people from TOHO actually loves the feet design, and even says that they look powerful, so if someone from Toho actually loves design from head to toe, then Legendary made no bad decisions. It was first seen in Wikizilla, then in the Toho Kingdom forums, and then it made it on to my Facebook page. But I did spread it around quickly a few minutes later, and I guess I am the first one in DA to post this.

I must admit that I am very hard to please, but this toy gives me high hopes. Since it's not the final product, I'm breathing easier. It looks as rough as the notification says. Still, definitely a good first step on the line of the Godzilla models. I'll definitely get one when the final product is online and available.
