iΒ΄m jealous of people who can draw master pieces with paint, while iΒ΄m trying to make half way decent pictures with gimp. but drawing with a mouse sucks, thatΒ΄s why i prefer to draw with a pencil, recently.

I've seen many awesome artwork done only on MS paint, not only do people blame MS paint, they also say dA Muro sucks too. It may not be as good as SAI or Photoshop, but I still see good art off of dA muro too.
Heck, I can make decent art off of MS paint. Plus, photoshop and SAI were pretty hard for me when I first used those two.

Absolutely correct. My chosen form of media is MS Paint and never once has the program limited me.
I suppose this is basically along the same lines of "It's not what you have, it's how you use it."

I have seen some drawings that were only done in MS paint & are absolutly amazing.
Ha, To be honest, You don't need Photoshop or SAI to be a good artist. Even MS paint users can be amazing artists.
((Though I have both Photoshop & SAI myself, I still use MS paint too. X3))

It's kid of a point, but more advanced programs have better tools. Which means you can get better effects.

I think it's meant more towards people who can't draw rather than those who can draw, but excel in different or certain programs. I used be one of those kids. Before I went digital about 3 years, I was like, "If I get photoshop I'll magically become an amazing artist," Now I'm mostly digital, and I don't even use photoshop. So it's wrong to blame the programs. xD

Anyway, I do agree. Art programs don't make your art suck. Although higher quality ones make it easier, it does NOT make it better. In fact, the MS Paint artists tend to put more effort into their work to make sure that it looks good.
Might I say that MS Paint picture in the link surprised me.
