Description
Submission for 's October Challenge: 2 Spoopy. It's getting difficult to come up with mid-scene stories ugh. I'm proud of this one though because of all the different places and ideas it could go. The colors turned out well too so there's that.
I don't know how much more of these two I can create. D:
If you find this picture unsettling or think others may find it to be so, please tell me either in a note or in a comment down below so I can put a mature content warning over it. I'm becoming more aware of what other's may find triggering and I would hate to do that so please just tell me and I'll be happy to do it. I'm just not 100% if this could be considered so.

Gorgeous! I always wonder how people can do such simple things and so impactful! Most of the time I overload my works until ruin them totally

Thank you so much for the comment!Β
Lots of trial and error taught me my strengths and weaknesses when it comes to art. but the fun thing is that there is no such thing as a wasted time and effort. And maybe to you they are ruined pieces while to someone else they are perfect! Just keep practicing! : )

You're right, but the work must be perfect for you first of all, it doesn't pass with "ok, they will like it" (when you don't), you have to compete only with yourself; grow with each ruined work and learn from it and overcome yourself with every work you do.Β

I really like the shadow puppet style here, at first glance I thought this might have been a take on Hansel and Gretel, but after I really looked, it reminded me of a 50s marriage gone wrong. I also adore the background and the colors on this, everything goes so well together! *u*

Thank you so much for the feedback I really appreciate it! >u< Β It took a lot of trial and error when deciding what colors should go where and what not, especially with a strict limit on what colors I was allowed to use.
I guess I kinda started a little series I guess with the silhouette couple when doing the color scheme challenge.
But thank you so much for the kind comment, it made my week ^^

You're so welcome! x3
Limited color schemes are so hard to work with, I have so much respect for people like you who can manage to make it look so effortless. oTL
I actually didn't know you were working with a limited color scheme! (If that's in the AC, then I'm so sorry for missing it! >>) Like I said though, you made it look effortless with the way the colors come together, like you just knew they were perfect together rather than you having agonized over which colors to put where and in what ways. Sometimes it blows me away how much people put into pieces like these that a lot of non-arty people don't seem to even notice.

I don't know what program you use for digital art but I use Sai and I just found this thing that lets you lock the layer so that you can change the space it takes up but nothing else that is out of that area..which is amazing for shading and changing colors. I suck at planning. You just kinda find what you're creating while you're doing it, you know?
Again thank you so much! It makes me really happy to know that people like you do appreciate my art and notice more than what it looks like. So thank you so much aadhjakdhak ^^

You're welcome, you're welcome! XD
Yeah, I use Fire Alpaca most of the time since SAI tends to lag on my computer. One day though!

I had a lot of trouble trying to get Fire Alpaca on my computer but from what I've heard it's a pretty neat program tho.
Yeah sometimes my tablet will lag on Sai and it's really obnoxious and makes me want to chuck my laptop out the window...

Yeah, I like it. But with SAI, I feel the same way but I get frustrated and just quit. XD;;;
I think SAI is probably better for coloring though, FA is very limited with that.

The twisted story of Hansel and Gretel?
The style of this reminds me Revolution Girl Utena and one artist, whose name I can't remember.
Nice work.

I think my bad relationship and break up kinda inspired these characters.Β
Hmm, I've never heard of that anime and some style ideas did come from
Thank you so much ^^
