The number one rule of art is that you can't be afraid of imperfection.
You have to learn and try in order to get better. I have seen some amazingly drasic improvements in some people on this site and my friends.
And this site is really good about not telling people "you're art sucks" and I've been on here for some time now, it's not like youtube. All artist have felt insecure about their art, even the greatest. Stay lovely and please don't give up no matter what anyone else, or even yourself, believes because you are in control or what you create and don't create.
