some quick background practice but also an AT for @/tristenisfabulous!!!! I've looked up to you for sooooo long, I can't believe I get to trade with you??ik this was a halfbody trade, but I hope this is ok?? Poseidon is such a gorgeous character :0 also I was in the mood for painting lol
I guess he's like exploring some ruins in this photo?
I literally just searched up underwater cavern and used some of those pictures for references

This is... ACK my brain is hurting just trying to comprehend how amazing this shot is! I love how Poseidon is posed in this, wings spread out to the side of them, looking up at the shaft of light The colours are spot on, I love the blue-grey shades of colour here, really gives off that underwater feel ^^
Maybe this could have taken place in a distant version of Pyrrhia's future, when the Deep Palace was attacked and destroyed by an unknown tribe, and the SeaWings had to built another palace somewhere else, hence the pillar in the right of the art? If Poseidon is underwater in this shot, then maybe he's exploring the ruins of the old Deep Palace in such a future... (I'm listening to this piece of music as I type this comment and look at this bit of art in amazement, and to me it goes so well with the idea I came up with just above, and with the bit of art in the context of that idea, despite the fact that yes, the music is supposed to be Undertale music xD One thing I haven't come across yet is fanmade Wings of Fire music, which I find to be a shame )
