What's his costume made off to withstand the heat of his body?

Some comic booky material. His body is hot, but not so hot there aren't already materials which could survive exposure. No spandex-like materials, but the world contains enough super-geniuses that the invention of one isn't out of line. As of yet it's never been important to name it.

Imduno why but Krakatoa is leaps and bounds my favorite of your characters. Must be my affinity for the more unusual, the visual oddities, the monstrous. In any matter, he's awesome!

He's my top tier "strong guy" hero, so whatever that turns out to be. Because I'm a compulsive "quantifier" I'm re-configuring all my characters using Mutants & Masterminds, so once I'm done with that I'll have exact statistics figured out.

Love this guy so much. He's got a great design and a fun attitude. Plus, I've always been a fan of characters with Earth-based abilities.

I like the 'Beast of Java' nickname - it parodies the title of the film 'Krakatoa - East of Java' which had one serious flaw in that Krakatoa is to the West of Java! Got to love Hollywood!
