Description
This suit, I swear!~ X3 I've always had a thing for attires like this (Gothic Arts, I suppose...?), given how majestic they feel and how elegant they would look in the whooshing wind!~And that mask... I will honestly admit, I have a thing for corvids and how elegant those carrion birds are. And how I'd actually drawn a mask that can fit onto a Sonic character's muzzle without looking way out-of-place (or the mask was meant for humans, in some cases that I've seen). And it also has a feather on it as well, cause why the heck not?
It took me quite a while to put together the small details of this attire, from his pants to his topwear to his mask and his boots. I didn't want to put too much details on them, and yet I want them to look more detailed than what I normally give him. What the heck?~ X'D At least I got this done to show some of you what Roslan's alternate attire could be if he needed a step up the Ladder of Fancy, or.... C| And yes, that is a certain town that I've been talking about behind him. Dunno why I drew the clock-tower behind him, of all buildings, but nyeh, I love clockwork stuff. - u-

Well... what can he say?~ This suit is a secret to many, so it's no surprise that you'd like it. I mean, come on!~ Who doesn't like a fancy suit like that?~ Especially in a dimension with a fitting theme?
Thank you, my friend~ Glad that you like Roslan's "fancy" costume in a different dimension.

Oh wow!!! ;o; This design for Roslan is awesome!!! I really love the mask!
So is this his new look, or is it just some awesome outfit he wears sometimes? XD
Great work bro!

This attire is just something he puts on for fancy occasions in a completely different dimension that he frequents to. c; Something like a Masquerade Ballroom party costume, ya know?~
Still, thank you for the compliments, lad~

Fanciful Corvid Knight of Blue~ Out of all the crow species, ish loving magpies the most. *v*
But the extra details on his boots are really nice! It really suits in the rest of the attire. More tailcoats for his armoured outfit, eh~? I saw three of them. ;D And... the mask looks like it's a pretty heavy thing to wear, I gotta say. Maybe it's just normal in terms of living in Sonic's dimension...?
Aside that, yus, the town of Langpole~! *Needs to go on iPhone later to actually see it*
But great work on his design, Axe! The feather does give a nice touch to it, honestly~

Haha, magpies are alright~ But they don't get the bad rep as much as Crows and Ravens do. :'I
It's nice to have fancy boots without leaning tooo much on the overly detailed side~ And... there's actually one more behind him, but I couldn't show it thanks to this angle. XD They're sort of like plates of an armour, except that this one is all decor and only sturdy enough to survive dodge-rolls. The mask would be made of light-weight materials, just like most masks in real life would be. I mean, have you seen the crazy masks that some fancy ballroom parties would have?! And `sides, who said anything about wearing a mask in combat?
//town ish not yet finished dun look plz //slapped
Thank you so very much for the compliments, my friend~

You mean you like Corvids who gets the bad reps more often? o3o //slapped
Well, as long as the decors do not interfere with the maneuverability, then all is good. And yes, those extremely fancy masquerades for the win! I even gave Elixir one as an optional accessory for her alternate uniform a long time ago, although it's for concealing identity instead of for typical face protection. c; But the blue streak on her fringe and the fact that she's an umbrella-wielder can give it all away extremely easily so jkshfldahjkljdahkldnslcs~ //brick'd
//Ish too lazeh to go on phone~
But anyways, you're welcome!

Gothic Arts = Dark and gloomy stuff = Creatures associated with morbid stuff = Corvids or anything grotesque in appearance. c;
Pfffft!! XD Given how diverse the characters are in the Sonic world, it'll take more than a mask to hide one's features! And 'sides, I like functional stuff. I'm not gonna put tonnes of fancy decor just to look fancy and unique when that may cost a lot of materials to make and difficult to preserve. :'D
Why you make me curious to want to see Elixir's Masquerade Outfit! >u<

....Makes sense. |D Then, there are cats, owls, bats....
Which is why in some MMO games, I prefer male armour better. Females, on the other hand..... they don't even know the term 'protection' anymore nowadays. :'I Just freakin' sequins and golden, swirly designs all over the place~
That anthro picture I uploaded last time was her in that masquerade outfit! Forgot to add the butterfly mask because.... laziness. xD

Relax~ c; I won't stereotype creature species just because they were associated with superstition. It's just a fun concept, is all~
Don't even get me started on the kinds of armour I've seen in some MMOs. D; Monster Hunter has some armour like that as well, along with certain animes.... c; But then again, sometimes you gotta admit that some female armour looks downright awesome, especially the full-body ones~
What the bloody-djfkcdgdiciftdjfii!! :u *proceeds to drawing Elixir in Masquerade outfit*

Well, if ya do say so~ But those are usually the ones I see often, along with wolves. c|
Looks somewhat suitable if they're mages and such. But seriously, it's so hard to come across a full-body suit on females nowadays that I just couldn't even… :'I I can only think of Final Fantasy so far~
But wot about the other stuff? D;

Hahaha~ Don't make me revamp one of my characters into a blood witch with an actual cat~
Myeh, that I can agree. But given how some games these days try their best to give female characters some decent armour, I'll just hope that they can find a balance for both male and female armour. Or just stick to the usual whole body armour that some prefer.
I can balance my schedule, not to worry~

You mean you've been thinking about that for a while? I mean, there's Halloween if you have the chance to do so. ;D
Why couldn't some games come up something like that? You know, with each armour piece that can both fit males and females~? At least a tad-bit of modification is okay so that it looks good on both of them, but that can save all much of those unnecessary hassles on the designing and such.
If you say so. D; I has gave you too many ideas— //slapped

I wasn't even referring to All Hallow's Eve when I said blood witch. ;D This character is the cray cray one in Langpole~
I dunno. Some people just love a bit of variation between the male and female armour sets. Still, you gotta give the design team some credit for making such armour for people to choose from based on the gender of their character.
Shhhhhhhhhhhh~ It's all good, Lite~ Wanna head over to the cafe? c;

Is this the dimension attire or random? I wonder what a brute like Death-Adder would think of Roslan.
It looks interesting in it's own way and I always enjoy complex designs.

..... |"I Really? A pirate hat?
It could be a dimension attire whenever he feels the need for a change of attire, just like how his Riders uniform can be an alternate attire in his home dimension. But given how this dimension has a load more of my favourite things roaming the streets and lurking in the alleys....
And thank you for the compliment, my friend!~

From the thumbnail, ya.
I've thought about an alt for Death-Adder but, his limited. He's way too heavy for any Gear board if he would even be interested. I have considered a new attire again. Something that shows his importance more.
It is interesting despite not being advanced.

Seriously? X'D The mask looks nothing like a pirate hat at all~ I mean, you can see his hair through one of the eye-holes.....
And then people wonder why I prefer fantasy over sci-fi, despite having an interest in both sides. Gives quite a lot of flexibility if there wasn't an evil organization out there that's bent on world domination. It'll take a while for ya to figure one neat attire that suits him, even if it means taking a few weeks or fashion designing~
.... Screw the high tech stuff for attire. Welcome to the world of fashion, where common sense can prevail~ //slapped

That wasn't visible from the thumbnail. Not to me anyway. The rest a little bit of a pirate look in some ways.
The world's interest is going to the military side as you probably know by watching any new blockbuster. Heck, even the Ninja Turtles and their rival are all teched up now. You can go for color with fantasy since they don't fight as much and colors were a big thing at that time.
In modern war, you have to be hidden or at least not a colorful beacon. Hints why England's troops dropped like flies in many wars over here in America.
Death-Adder's new attire will either retain it's current color or be a mid grey.
Can't screw it. After all it's the new future.

Which is why I'm staying on the side of fantasy. I've noticed the trend ever since the first Transformers movie by Micheal Bay hit the screen years ago, so it's no surprise to me at all. `Sides, I'm the kind of person who sticks to his interests and his interests alone. And please, "fantasy... don't fight as much..."? You really underestimate a lot of stuff, Drake. Be careful.
Well duh, the British army back then were too patriotic to realise their stupidity that red (not blood) is THEE most obvious colour on the battlefield. Any sane weapons enthusiast would know that colour plays an advantage in war, given how the need for surprise and ambush can turn the tides of war. I know these things about modern combat all too well, just so you know.

When you think of high tech, you think of war. When you think of fantasy, you think of dragons, magic, knights and kings. Combat is much less advised even though the world was more barbaric. At least that's what I see.
Don't get me wrong, I like the creativity of both ends. If you ever consider and alternate story in the timeline, contact me because I'd love to contribute.

.... Well, talk about stereotyping stuff to the extremes. Combat is inevitable, regardless of the age that one is present in, Drake. To me, it looks as if you're saying that high tech stuff was meant for combat all the way. And that is quite barbaric for someone who's quite into high tech stuff.
I've already repeated this countless of times, No, I will not consider alternate timelines for any of my characters at all. Alternate universes/planes for exploration, yes I love that idea, but a parallel self in a different setting? I'm content with just 'one' Roslan/Sagacious/Charles, thank you.

You do realise that most of our conversations tend to lean on the huge side, no?~ XD Just... keep in mind that fantasy isn't a realm where all of that sparkly nonsense exist. Sure, that can happen, but there's always the grim side of fantasy where literally anything. Can. Happen.
It's fine. But I can assure you now: Never will I make alternate versions of my characters ever.
