I love that dramatic pose. The only problem I can see is the necklace -- while it's true that if the gryphon's diving it'd be pulled along, but it somehow looks too still and flat.

I love the dramatic feel! you can practically hear the clap of the thunder that would go along with that lightning, and the warmth of the color pallette you used really gives the whole thing life.. and the gryphon.. you've captured the diving pose wonderfully, it seems so natural.. excellent work..

Damn cool pose. I love how intent and focused the gryphon's expression is, and the pose is AMAZING. I invision him diving downward just as fast as the lightning strikes behind him. Oh, and the use of browns on both chara and background is an extremely nice touch ^^
