AAAAAAAARNGH! Those wings are just so kökkö... Lets say shitty in English... -.-' And I feel like crying otherwise also. Why? BECAUSE I'M DOING SOME BLOODY RANDOM WORKS WHILE I SHOULD BE WORKING ON SOMETHING MORE CLEVER... Pardon me, I'm a bit tired
And do not ask about the title...
It was originally a small doodle I did while I was bored, and yesterday when some relatives of ours did come to visit, I hide myself in front of the computer and ended up doing something after that sketch. You see the result. It's some random phoenix messing around with clouds. And how high in the sky that fellow is, I have no idea.
After all I myself think that the colors of this pic turned out nicely and I tested some new things with the shadings. In some areas they look quite messy but I'm happy with them otherwise. Something else it is with the lineart...
PS CS 3, lots of songs from 80's and 90's, time probably around 7hours...

I like the wings , think the body looks a little off but heh
drawing my own phoenix and the whole lot turned out crap - especially the body
so I don't have much room to critisize on this ..
anyway , I like it - it gives me a familiar feeling

Yeah, I know that if I would have gone to talk to them I would have probably received this same old question-flood I hear everywhere... "How are you?", "How's it going at school?", "You're ending high school soon, right? Where are you going to go next fall?" (<- And after that would come the usual question, "What on earth is a medianom?"...). So, I gladly did just sit in front of the computer

That is because the bird is slightly tilted, so it is natural in perspective that the wing is longer than the other

Ei sen siivet minusta mitenkään kuse. O-o se on oikein kaunis yksilö, pyrstö näyttää minun silmääni hieman hassulta, mutta sen sijaan työ on oikein antoisa. Tykkään tosta tunnelmasta, vähän tollai.. FREEFALLLINNGGGHHH, mutta kuitenkin tollai .. ööh.. liitävä? Niin just.. o_o

Kyllä ne siivet vaan kusee. Ei siis kirjaimellisesti mutta häikkää niissä on...
Pyrstössä on vähän jotain ongelmaa, nuo pitkät sulat taipuu jotenkin hassusti 
Onko se sellainen "FREEFALLIIIINGGHH leija"? Mulle tuli koko ajan mieleen leija kun tein tätä kuvatusta

NHmn. Minusta ne siivet on hienot, lintujen siivet on muutenkin tosi hankalia ,kun niistä ei ota selkoa saatika muutenkaan, tosi hankala piirtää o_o
