Description Now I'm sure I've messed up here somewhere, but this one is another work in progress.

This one was a challenge by in response to my last journal post. The finished version of this Array should create a concentrated beam of super hot light. The beam is shot in the direction indicated by the arrow in the Array, and the size of the beam would be entirely up to the Alchemist, and the beam starts in the air, directly above or in front of the Array.

Can you explain the design?

I suppose, but I'm 80% sure this thing is a dud.

I used a hexagon as the inner shape, because it seemed best for the complexity of the process, the triangle in the center is for fire, or rather just heat, and the star, as well as the symbol inside the star, are supposed to be symbolic of light, and the arrow is to gather the heat and light, and focus it in the indicated direction.

That makes sense. The triangle represents heat, and the trident does symbolize light. The star you depict also represents light. Light is electromagnetic disruptions, so the star is like energy, as the pentagram represents, but its jagged and creates light. As for the hexagon, I don't honestly see that being completely needed. If anything, a pentagram, pentagram, or first phase octogram (two squares, one rotated 45 degrees atop each other). Those represent energies, which would be more purposeful.
I also suggest you find a way to condense and focus the light. This array is more like a really hot flashlight. If you were to make a compression agent, such as a 45 degree vector at the center of each line on the triangle. That will force the reaction to the center and keep it in one general spot, like a speck, or a laser beam. From there, you can force the reaction into that one direction, and then you get your laser beam! W00t!

And here you seem my point This one requires a lot more research on my part, which is why its also a v1.

You have a great thing going for you. You know your not the best yet, and your not ashamed. Once again, your starting off strong. Congrats!

I'm not the best at anything I do, but I'm fine with that. I've got several odd little talents, but none of them are useful, and none of them are developed to mastery. I'll let you know when I find my useful talent.

I know I'm just selling my book here, but it will really help you master alchemy if thats something you are looking to do.
-And there I go again, selling unpublished book... I'm crazy....

The fact that you can successfully sell a product that has yet to be completed, is just proof that its amazing The more people want something yet to be released, the more successful it will be.

Then look forward to that in the future...mind you, you could use this array to do something similar.
