Description I read something about "freedom festival" yesterday morning...

"The Toronto Freedom Festival (TFF) is the city’s largest one-day, outdoor, spring festival attracting well over 30,000 people to Queen’s Park ...."

"TFF was developed to offer thoughtful, passionate groups a forum to expose their ideas to thousands of progressive thinking individuals. By coming together in large numbers, positive attention has been drawn to individuals and groups seeking to preserve their constitutional rights and freedoms. "

So I go imagining there to be different voices, all sorts of issues...thought it would be serious too being in front of Ontario's legislation; but what do I find? A sea of people using marijuana.

I walked in the crowd and around the area hoping there'd be more to it, but there wasn't any. After a round, I left the place to get away from it all. But I had this really bitter feeling.

I returned to the place and took a lot of photos; I'm usually timid with taking pictures of people...but I didn't care now. I put the camera in anyone's face I felt like.

I heard one person take the mic and talk about it while I was there.... he'd use words like bliss, beautiful, wonderful, making a difference, letting innocent prisoners free, and for our grand kids, and ending a war...while there is that marijuana smell and garbage everywhere, with most of the people having that indifferent unfocused look in their eyes.
Ugh.

They should straight up keep it as "Toronto's Marijuana March".

Freedom is too big of a word to be reduced to one voice, and to this.

It's sad...but it's not the first time something like this has happened and it won't be the last.

Freedom, like government, is an illusion. Once everyone realizes it's an illusion it doesn't work anymore.

Oh I don't expect freedom to necessary have a pleasant face. It's just that it was only about one thing.

Imagine some people getting addicted to this....I wonder what they'd think of freedom then..
