Thanks for putting this up. My group is working on a trio of LOD cosplays. When I first starting doing research, yours was one of the first to pop up. Interesting methods. We're using EVA foam for almost everything.

Oh, you actually made a tutorial? Sweet! (I hadn't seen this before). But that's amazing for rushing. I'm finished up how I'll make my dragoon outfit except for the skirt, it looks like we both had/have problems with that. I'm sitting around scratching my head wondering how I'm going to do it. I'll be using paper mache and sheetrock for the armor (I made a mask with that stuff, it's pretty light and real sturdy)

I'll be doing Albert (crossplaying, I love it!!) and a friend will be doing Meru. Both of us are kind of the guinea pigs, so to speak. We're planning to do the entire dragoon group, so she and I are doing ours ahead of everyone else's to test materials; and both of ours will be different than the others. I know she wants to have the wings foldable...
Sheetrock... I'm using it as an outer shell for the armor. It's mostly used in house construction, it's that white puddy-like stuff you cover holes and cracks with. I've used it to make a mask before and it's really smooth and it's light.
I'm especially in an LOD mood because of that "Angel Rings [working title]" game that's been rumored to be the next LOD game, since it's the same people who made the first one.

You did an amazing job, this is the *BEST* LoD costume I have ever seen.
I always dreamed of making a Rose Dragoon costume someday, but before that I'd probably do the normal outfit. I actually even have just about all the material for it together. Wasn't even looking for fabric for THAT when at that one place I found this perfect looking dark purple pleather. Couldn't pass that up.
I convinced my hubby that he'd go as Albert if I'd make the Rose costume, since he sort of resembles him. I'd love to have a little group of great LoD cosplayers together someday, cause you hardly ever see that.
Now I "only" (haha!!) have to get back in shape. <_<'

I originally wanted to do Shana's original outfit, then after comparing the two, I decided dragoon form would be more fun to make!

My friend is working on a Dragoon Meru, so I'm totally stoked. We'll have matching wings and all ahhahaha and huge weapons! I didn't finish shana's bow on time for sakuracon so yeah...weaponless dragoon T.T
Rose's regular outfit looks 100x more complicated than Shana's regular outfit! Good luck with it
