This is incredibly helpful. Maybe I won't end up doing crystals as detailed as this, but i'll sure have an idea how to if I need to. And it'll make the simple ones a lot easier.

This is very nice and helpful ! I think the only thing that boder me is that it is too uniform.
Your cristal seems matt everywhere but most of them have transparent and brillant parts, like glass

i have to agree, it looks more like a crystal (it still looks amazing though.), ice does have more of a melty feel to it.
