Something i worked on recently and just never got around to posting. New Mechwarrior game next year...and decided last month after some hints and teasing of promotional art, that i had to do something to psych myself up a bit until it was officially announced.In this case, my absolute fave of the mechwarrior/battletech lore, 75-ton Timber Wolf/Mad Cat, with some rough Clan Wolf markings.
Few hours of on and off work...I plan to do more of other Mechs from other factions...

Y'know, given my absolute love for the Mad Cat, it's actually surprising that I'd really go for any kind of a redesign, especially one this radical, but I'm feeling this one. It's quite an interesting job you've done, given the fact that you were able to modify nearly all of the actual surface design aesthetic while still keeping the primary silhouette. Pretty impressive.

As much as i like it's design, the Thor is best suited for my combat style, it's agility and weapons are great for close quarters combat! You did a great job with this! Do you know if mechwarrior online is out?

wow you chaged the cockpit, and all of a sudden it doesnt look fat anymore
liking (although i have to be against it, since i like to have all mechs looking as the first creator imagined them

Approaching something as iconic as the Mad Cat is always a touch-and-go affair, but you did mighty fine work!
I like how you gave it a bit more heft by expanding the glacis and giving more mass to the limbs while streamlining some of the harsher corners. Even the Timber Wolf resculpt version looks lanky in comparison.

I always preferred the Mad Dog/Vulture, but this one looks pretty awesome to.
