Description
Still shot of a 3d model i put together for a group animation project. The goal of the video was to show the process of a typical naval fighter take off and landing of a navy aircraft carrier, in this case, using an F/A-18 Super Hornet.Modeled in Cinema 4d, done in about 2 months for a deadline of animating(wish i had more time to texture it properly). Modeled functional, landing gear, doors, and flaps all movable.

do you have any kind of simulation generating software? Because this would make a fantastic add-on to a flight sim package like FSX. The sound and cockpit files can be downloaded to make a complete package, or you could maybe just put these textures on a site. Also, it could be imported into CADCAM to make a ducted-fan RC model.
Great model whatever you do with it, well done

Unfortunately i dont have any sort of generating software. This was purely for a "informational" video, so i never got the chance to consider it, lol. The take off and landing in the movie i had to do completely by hand so to say, was fun to do though.
