well here it is! a lot more work then you might think but it is true that since the illustrations are simple i'll be able to pump a Dave comic out pretty quickly.a thanks goes to Dragontrap for making a pretty coherent guide on making interactive comics (you can find the guide here. )
there is a link to the website at the end but you can also find it here anyways.
so yeah, chapter 2 is on the way, should see it next month. i'd rather not stuff journal entries into anyones mailbox about progress or meaningless stuff so if you want to follow dave, check out the site. but don't worry i'll still be posting the comics here.

ok i've finally got it how i like it. i wish i could just change the resolution of the final piece but flash isn't nearly so flexible.

i honestly thought about putting these 'features' in but i somehow talked myself into thinking they would harm the story some how... they will be implemented into future chapters.

that's a good point. i wanted it to be a little jarring when dave spoke. in fact a lot of this comic is telling you, the reader, what it is that dave can, and can not do.
for instance, we know he does have emotion, and expression, and desire.
i think the temptation for a comic like this would be to never make dave talk, or act, or express himself. but Dave is a personality.

Why is Dave a better person for defeating Antidave?

he's gained experience. he's fought his nemesis and won. speak your thoughts i am curious to know what you think on that.

I do sympathize with Anti-Dave,
and I don't know if he should have been his nemesis,
Anti-Dave was created by Dave to be his opposite,
but that does not mean that they could not be friends.
In fact, within that, Is Dave not just Anti-Anti-Dave?
Even though he was there first, he was not necessarily good, or right.
But it is Dave's story, and he is the victor, so he is right and Anti-Dave is wrong.
I find it unfortunate the winners right the history, and always perceive themselves as good.

I think epoch's meaning is epoch a long period of time. Sorry, but I got confused with the meanings of epic and epoch. I think I was supposed to say "epoch, or rather epic". But I kept thinking that we misuse epic for something truly amazing when I think that epic is a poem, and epoch is a time length.
