well here it is! a lot more work then you might think but it is true that since the illustrations are simple i'll be able to pump a Dave comic out pretty quickly.a thanks goes to Dragontrap for making a pretty coherent guide on making interactive comics (you can find the guide here. )

so yeah, chapter 2 is on the way, should see it next month. i'd rather not stuff journal entries into anyones mailbox about progress or meaningless stuff so if you want to follow dave, check out the site. but don't worry i'll still be posting the comics here.

ok i've finally got it how i like it. i wish i could just change the resolution of the final piece but flash isn't nearly so flexible.

i honestly thought about putting these 'features' in but i somehow talked myself into thinking they would harm the story some how... they will be implemented into future chapters.

This is an honest comment, not a bash on you at all.
I was interested in the beginning and it was so long and drawn out I got bored, but I liked the ending alot. So in my opinion (and thats all it is, is an opinion) is cut out much of the middle, make it shorter to not loose our interest.
I liked the flash part of it, much more interesting then just making it a panel by panel comic.

no, i really appreciate an honest comment.
this comic is 25 pages long, and i believe every section is necessary. because, when i wrote the script for this chapter it was 4 pages long. i honestly dislike comics which refuse to have more then 5 panels, but that is what this comic called for. it annoys me that i am writing and drawing a comic which breaks my own guideline but it seems that's always how it works.
also as far as the whole story is concerned this is the slow start, and it will pick up in pace.
but it's interesting that you got bored. was it the 'search' that bored you? tell me more *rubs chin*.

I think it was the middle of the search where he was getting anxiety and the walking walking walking But re reading it I can see how it is important for the story considering he has just found himself and is feeling all these new emotions for the first time. I also understand the need for the walking segment as it is showing how vast and open nothing really is.. So you can disregard my comment, I understand it better reading it for a second time
