well here it is! a lot more work then you might think but it is true that since the illustrations are simple i'll be able to pump a Dave comic out pretty quickly.a thanks goes to Dragontrap for making a pretty coherent guide on making interactive comics (you can find the guide here. )
there is a link to the website at the end but you can also find it here anyways.
so yeah, chapter 2 is on the way, should see it next month. i'd rather not stuff journal entries into anyones mailbox about progress or meaningless stuff so if you want to follow dave, check out the site. but don't worry i'll still be posting the comics here.

ok i've finally got it how i like it. i wish i could just change the resolution of the final piece but flash isn't nearly so flexible.

i honestly thought about putting these 'features' in but i somehow talked myself into thinking they would harm the story some how... they will be implemented into future chapters.

Yeah, you're right, one of the guys in the movie is named Dave. I think you would like the humour in this movie, it can be of the silent type as in your story a little philosophical and absurd.

i don't quite understand existentialism, as it quite a complex philosophy, but i would say that from what i know 'solipsism' is a better way to describe Dave, specifically 'Metaphysical solipsism'. i'm not trying to correct you, this is just something I want to spread around as i find it interesting and worth mentioning. i'll likely do a journal entry or post on the website about what i think Dave is really about, but i'm not nearly that confident yet ^_^
anyways you were the first one to mention existentialism so you get the awesome explanation.

In short, several gallery moderators (and a few others) are assigned to select Daily Deviations within their own gallery. This is usually by suggestion of a user. Anyone can suggest DDs.
