First off let me say I'm sorry people are just ranting at the woman who may or may not be smoking, and forgetting about your photo. It's a good photo, its interesting. I like the elements of the lights, the color from the pool. Makes me curious.

I think this picture is very random, and hilarious! I do wonder why this couple thought this would be a good pregnancy picture, but it's so far from normal that it's awesome.
Nice shot by bringing the couple into focus, and using the pool table light to your advantage.

Seriously? Everyone knows that smoking while pregnant is bad and a photo isn't going to convince anyone otherwise. "Oh, this popular photo shows a pregnant woman smoking via Photoshop! That instantly negates all of the research done on the subject! Honey, pass me a menthol!" The people who smoke while pregnant know it's bad and do it anyway.
I'm more surprised that a couple wanted a pregnancy shot with such a seedy feel. It's a pretty awesome concept and probably an awesome couple.

Well, i can't say i like how the woman is protraying herself, with or without photoshopped smoke. Smoking while pregnant is very dangerous for both mother and child. However, the picture itself is a very good shot. I especialy like how you captured the motion of the billiard ball as it's headed out from the formation. (I don't play billiards/pool, i don't know the technical term). Anyway, the overall photo is good, i just don't care for the smoking while pregnant.

Honestly, that's probably the entire point of the photo. As the artists stated, it's very difficult to get pregnant women in their country near a lit cigarette, and they seem incredibly unhappy and upset, so that was more than likely the intention.

The 'unhappiness' is probably caused by the hormonal imbalances caused by pregnancy. It's only if you're a smoker that you'd begin to suffer from withdrawl symptoms, but either way, i have to agree. But as I stated, the photo in and of itself is good, i personally just don't care for the subject matter

Even if the smoke was done in Photoshop, it still sets a bad example. That isn't as bad as teen pregnancy in my opinion, though, because they have no clue what they're getting into. (That, and when a couple decides to have a baby, can't afford it, and come crying onto here for money from other people.)

Who cares about setting a bad example? Should all art be censored for what it exemplifies? No. People have a head, with a brain inside, even if sometimes you would not believe from the way people behave. Looking at a picture of a pregnant woman smoking doesn't mean they have to follow suit.

It's still representing the fact of smoking while pregnant. The government only supports it because they "need to lower the population in order to stop loosing money", which is repulsive.
