Pretty much, if we're going to do it the long way and physically climb out, rather than just think ourselves out.
Long story why it's like that. It's kinda unnecessary now, but none of us have ever bothered to change it.

Yeah, movement is another one of those things our headspace speeds up immensely. You can get from point A to Z and skip all the middle bits if you want.
