Description
I created this stand for a fellow artist as a custom item to perfectly fit his pocket watch.Designed to look like melting wax, each drip I have hand carved from a piece of recycled black walnut.
Standing approximately 20cm high, this stand perfectly holds the pocket watch with a rebated section to accommodate the watch chain.
The whole item has been thoroughly hand sanded and finished with a gloss lacquer.

Some very impressive carving here. I like the little channel for the watch chain- it makes quite a nice sort of frame.
