Description
a speedpaint from yesterday. around 2 hours of work with breaks in between C:.The lighting doesn't make sense but it's really meant to be an abstract mood piece. Painted while listening to DJ Encore's ' Point of No Return', hence the title.

This is the evolved version of speed-painting...I remember as a kid when I used to put tunes on and just draw...but this is just stunning.

If you haven't heard Phantom - you should take a look!! The music is extremely inspiring. Especially the song, "Music of the Night..." The original by Michael Crawford is wonderful. Very lyrical and melodic.

It has an odd symetry about it, but is very nice.
I like the contrast between day and night being joined together with the spheres of light.

This is sublime, and I can't believe it's a speed painting! T_T
The first thing that came to mind, given the title and the way you've spiralled the lights there, is that it's a rocket taking off and we're seeing it from below. I don't know if that's what you intended or not, but the palette and style you've used makes it a very optimistic, serene piece. I love it. ^^

I think it's beautiful, and it reminds me of Beautiful Man of War Jelly fish (in a good way I love strange creatures) dancing in the air in an intertwined mating ritual. I love the colors of the clouds and sky, and the meeting of the sea creatures in the light of the moon and stars. Crazy..but that's what it looks like to me, and it's a little surreal or fantastic, but very well done!...Annie
